Andy had been on the stage for years as an entertainer at amusement parks, as well as plays at the University of Maryland, when Christ came into his life. The transformation in Andy’s life changed his desire to be on stage into a desire to do whatever the Lord’s will was. For years his charisma on stage would lie dormant, but Andy would serve as worship leader at various churches as he moved multiple times with his job. But when God brought Alopecia into Andy’s life, instead of seeing the glass half full, Andy saw that the Lord made him funny. His past performance history led him to begin a ministry of stand-up comedy that would never offend its listener, but would edify and propel the hearer to a closer walk with God. Andy is currently the worship leader at his home church, and ministers with his wife Denise, offering encouragement in the struggles that churches face today.
